LABOR WELL

Our third core value is expressed through the term LABOR. We believe the local church is the agency by which Christ's great gospel is carried to a waiting world. That gospel is best expressed through evangelism and missions. In many ways, the local church was designed by God be a world missions agency.

Jesus described it this way in Mark 10:45 when he said, "For the Son of man came not to be served but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many."

Every Christian has been called and gifted to serve Christ through some kind of service. Though service may start with simple tasks within the four walls of the church building, it eventually overflows into ministries across the street and around the world.

We have plenty of opportunities for members to serve at Mountain View, including as greeters, workers with children and youth, as well as helping lead in worship, teach small groups, or help with maintenance of the building and grounds.
