In this passage, we are told that we are to flee from idols - that which takes the place of God in our lives - and not be "sharers in demons" but rather sharers in the altar. ![]() Idols are not just gods of stone or physical things made with hands. Idols can be in our hearts as well; money, our jobs, possessions, or whatever takes the place of God in our lives.
