
![]() In Acts 18:23 we see that the Apostle Paul is in-between the 2nd and 3rd Missionary Trips. Paul’s desire is to go back through the churches he has previously planted to strengthen and encourage them. Paul’s mission is to see disciples made and then as a byproduct churches planted and churches strengthened. So too with us, we need to stop and look back at our past as a local body before heading out to strengthen and encourage other gospel works, and as we go make disciples. In this message, we look at the beginnings of a mission movement that has had a lasting impact upon northern Utah and beyond. We know what exercising our bodies looks like but what does training our soul look like? How does one train their soul to become more like God? Though Paul does not give a specific list in 1 Timothy 4, God does give us clues throughout Scripture. Last week we examined the importance of studying the Bible to grow in godliness.
